Gandhi inspired many people to act out against the numerous unjust traditions and laws throughout the world. The most famous person he inspired was Martin Luther King Jr.   King continued on Gandhi's legacy to eventually have the segregation of blacks and whites abolished. Now people are judged by the content of their character instead of by the color of their skin. Even though King was unable to grow up being treated equal to whites, his children are now able to, which makes his struggle worthwhile.
